Art
This class has been reorganized
with a new format. Beginning Oct. 20 it will be a mixed class of
7th and 8th graders, with each section meeting two days a week.
There's a Tuesday-Wednesday group and a Thursday-Friday group.
The units we'll cover are as follows:
3rd Term - Architecture & 3-D Modeling
with Google Sketchup
4th Term - Photography, Film & Video with
PhotoShop and iMovie

If you missed one or
more days of classes you should also visit these sections to find
out what lessons were covered on those days. But you should not
rely on this site alone; contact me to find out how
you can catch up or make up for missed lessons and
assignments.
Grading Policy
30 percent - Homework, Tests, Assignments
50 percent - Digital Art Projects
20 percent - Citizenship, Class Participation
Points wil be taken off for late work. After the first progress
reports are mailed any work over a week late will no longer be
accepted.
Students are welcome to come
during lunch break and after school (except Wednesdays) to finish
work or catch up.
Students
with an average of D or lower will be asked to come during lunch
and after school to improve their
grades.

Teacher's Profile
My name is Ms. Antoinette Go and
this is my first year with AISL. In fact this is my first time in
Africa. I previously taught high school business and computer
courses in international schools in Islamabad, Pakistan and
Bangkok, Thailand. I also taught Technology Discovery in
Mississippi.
Here in AISL I teach the following
classes:
- HS Yearbook/Desktop Publishing (Period E)
- Grade 8 Digital Art (Period G)
- HS-MS Photography (Mondays)
- HS-MS Digital Media (Wednesdays)
