Swimming:
During the weeks of March 8 through March 20, our P.E. class will be swimming again. Please be reminded that students should bring their towels and bags to store wet clothing. Caps are encouraged for students with long hair.

Dr. Seuss Day
Wow! We had a great time eating green eggs and ham. Thank you to the parents who helped organize our day by providing treats. I would like to extend a big thank you to Mrs. Agarwal for cooking our green eggs. You all are examples of great parent involvement.

Social Studies: No Social Studies this week.

Science: This was our last week of Solids and Liquids. We discussed whether we thought toothpaste was a solid, liquid or both. Then we conducted an experiment with putting toothpaste in water to observe what happens. During tooth brushing time, discuss with your child what they believe toothpaste is and why.

Next week we will begin our study of rocks. The unit title is, “Pebbles, Sand and Silt.” In preparation of that unit we created pet rocks and wrote about, what makes a pet rock better than a real pet. Please come and check out our board.
