John Stewart – Junior & High
School – Instructional Technology
November 19, 2007
On Friday, November 16th, I
received a call from my family letting me know that my father was
very ill and not expected to make it through the Thanksgiving
holiday. My father is a diabetic and has been living in a care
facility for Alzheimer patients for the past year. Although the
doctors have told us to prepare for this outcome, it is always
unexpected when you receive the news. At this time, it is important
for me to be with my family, providing whatever help and support I
can for my mother. Mrs. Halliday is my substitute during my
absence. She has worked with our students on many occasions in the
past and I have every confidence that she will continue the program
without any problems. If you have any questions, please feel free
to email me. I will check my school email as often as time permits
while I am gone. Thank you for your understanding and support.
