IS AFRICAN STUDIES?
African Studies is the study of Africa, and can hold within such
fields as social and economic development, politics, history,
culture, sociology, anthropoly or linguistics.
WHY DO WE STUDY
AFRICAN STUDIES?
To know the traditions, festivals, and characteristics of African
people. such as:
a. Early settlement / compare with moden settlement.
b. Physical environment
c. Natural resources to satisfy their basic needs
d. All their cultural celebrations
e. Money system
f. History, climate
g. Social and political systems in Africa
