Important
Policy Information: All Middle School students (grades 6-8) must
earn a minimum of a B- or 80% in order to receive credit for a High
School language class. Middle School students enrolled in
Spanish classes are earning High School credits early. In
order to ensure that students can demonstrate proficiency with High
School level content, Middle School students will only receive
credit on their official High School transcript for classes in
which they have earned the minimum final grade of B-. If a
Middle School student does not pass with a B- or higher, then
he/she will retake the course until a B- is earned. This will
not interfere with their High School course requirements, because
by taking Spanish is Middle School, students are earning credits
early than necessary. After every chapter, students receive a
progress report. I will always let you know when these are
coming home and will remind your by e-mail as well. If your
student is not earning a B- after each chapter, it will be
important for your student to retest until that is the case.
I will also be sure to e-mail you personally if I am worried about
your student's progress toward this goal. Please e-mail me
with any questions!

reason, I won't see all my kids every day and tests have been

publish this finals schedule soon. I will send more info when

This website is here
to help students and parents by providing information about class
work, homework, projects, and curriculum
resources. The above tabs contain
the following information:
Documents
Tab: This tab will have documents that may be helpful to
both students and parents. All handouts and rubrics given in
class will be available. If a student needs a handout for
homework, I will note in the assignment description the title of
the document so students and parents can find these
easily.
Events
Tab: This tab is where students will find their homework
assignments. This should not be their only resource
for remembering homework, but will usually be updated on Mondays
for the week. Assignments may change due to class
progress.
Links Tab:
This is where I will post links to websites that will help
students.
